Drecp Programmatic Agreement

The Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan (DRECP) focuses on 10.8 million acres of crown land in the desert regions of seven California counties — Imperial, Inyo, Kern, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego. It is a landscape-level plan that streamlines the development of renewable energy while preserving unique and valuable desert ecosystems and providing opportunities for outdoor recreation. The BLM signed the Decision Memorandum approving its amendment to the Land Use Plan on September 14, 2016, completing Phase I of the DRECP. The amendment to the BLM plan covers the 10 million hectares of land managed by BLM in the DRECP plan area and supports the DRECP`s overall renewable energy and conservation objectives. DreCP is a collaboration between the California Energy Commission, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, USA. Bureau of Land Management und dem U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, auch bekannt als Renewable Energy Action Team. . . .
